About Hannah
Hannah Johnson Williamson, M.Ed., LPC, FMCHC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, and the founder of Hannah Williamson Counseling and Wellness. She is based in Houston, Texas. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston and holds a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University. She completed her training as a health coach at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy.
Hannah works with preteens, teens, young adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, body image concerns, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Her approach is person-centered and relational. She takes an individually tailored approach for each of her clients, drawing from behavioral, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed modalities. She is trained in EMDR and uses it to help clients process and heal from difficult experiences. She is also trained as a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, which helps her support clients navigating body image issues and disordered eating.
In addition to her clinical work, Hannah is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach and supports clients in building sustainable habits around nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress. She is also a certified Birkman Method Consultant, offering personality assessments for career clarity, stress management, and personal development.
Across all her roles, Hannah is committed to a holistic, mind body approach and believes meaningful growth happens when the whole person is supported emotionally, physically, and mentally. For those interested, Hannah is willing to integrate her Christian faith into her work with clients.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys cooking, reading, running, and spending time with her friends and family. Hannah lives in Houston, Texas with her husband, John, and their dog, Bo.
